Sir Tony Robinson and The Estate Of Dame June Whitfield are among a host of names supporting Myfriends Online Week, launched by Age UK to help older people get online and enjoy the social benefits of the internet.

Speaking to the charity's YouTube channel, stars explained why they love the web, and called for users of all ages to help an older person learn the basics. Tony Robinson said 'I’ve been away in Australia for the last three months and the one thing that has kept me united with my family has been the internet; it tells me how my little granddaughter is getting on'.
